Tuition and Other Fees:

(a) Citizen of SAARC countries - US$500/00 per annum plus other fees

(b) Citizen of other countries-US$ 1,200/00 per annum plus other fees

(c ) The Department concerned may charge additional lab/course fees.

How to apply

• Step-1: Fill out the prescribed form and upload the necessary documents, i.e., all academic transcripts, one copy of a passport-size photograph, and proof of citizenship (national ID and Passport details).
• Step-2: DU authority concerned will check your eligibility
• Step-3: Approved Applications will be forwarded to the relevant department and OIA
• Step-4: The Department concerned and the OIA will issue an offer letter and a visa- support letter, respectively.
• Step-5: Acknowledge the offer letter and initiate payment of admission fees online or in person.
• Step-6:The OIA will liaise with the ministries concerned (i.e. Education, Home and Foreign) to complete your admission process.

MPhil Program

Check your Eligibility

a) 4-years Bachelor's degree and 1-year Master’s degree

b) In all examinations, 2nd Division/Class (minimum 50% marks) or C.G.P.A. 3.50 out of 5 and 3 out of 4

c) Candidates should have a 3-year bachelor's degree with a 1-year Master’s degree for admission in the PhD programme.

The higher studies sub-committee or faculty of the department or institute concerned will assess the eligibility of the candidates. Other requirements and conditions for registration under the regular system will also be applicable. The University authority will evaluate the degree equivalence of each candidate's submitted transcript.

Supervisor

The candidate must contact the supervisor or the head of the department concerned to finalise the research proposal. The supervisor must be of the rank of Professor or Associate Professor with a Ph.D. degree. Visit to FIND A SUPERVISOR.

Duration : 2 Years

Year 1: Course work followed by written examination.
Year 2: Candidates who have obtained 50% pass mark will be allowed to write thesis under the guidance of research supervisor.

PhD Program

Teaching/Professional Experience:

The candidates must/expected to have minimum two years of teaching experience at the Graduation level, minimum two years of research experience at any recognised Research organisation, or minimum two years of job experience at any government, private, autonomous, or semi-autonomous organisation.

Publications:

The candidate must have at least two peer-reviewed research articles published in a recognised journal.

Supervisor:

Introduction

As the global information economy evolves, organisations are becoming increasingly complex, and innovative organisational models and practices have become crucial to successfully addressing this complexity. As a result, leadership in this environment requires higher, more sophisticated levels of knowledge and skills. The DBA program at IBA is designed to serve these needs by providing doctoral-level education to practitioners in business and management.The prime objective of the DBA program is to produce graduates who can contribute to the advancement of their professions and the expansion of knowledge relating to the current theories, practices and issues in business and management.

Degree Requirements

To qualify for the DBA degree, a student has to meet the following requirements:

• • Completion of 12 (twelve) courses individually with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50 on a 4.00 point scale;
• • Successful defense of research proposal at the end of the second year;
• • Conduction of two seminars outlining the progress of research work after completion of all required (36 credits) course work;
• • Publication of two research articles from the dissertation in recognised business journals; and,
• • Successful defense and acceptance of dissertation.

Time Frame

• • The standard duration of the DBA program is 4 (four) years;
• • A student may be given a maximum of 8 (eight) academic years, beginning from the date of admission, to complete his/her degree; and,
• • The coursework for the DBA program is sgenerally expected to be completed within 2 (two) academic years from the date of admission.
